Founded in 1994, Vandervort Architects creates architecture that is influenced by the beauty and tradition of the Northwest. Our approach seeks appropriate design solutions that responds to the land, reflect our clients’ needs, and respects the communities in which we live and create. We apply these same sensitivities toward understanding other areas we work in around the region and country.
The focus of our work is on smaller scale buildings, both residential and commercial, with a specialty in custom home design. Vandervort Architects also has an extensive background designing many small scale structures including churches, retreat facilities, and mixed-use buildings.
In our practice, we seek to be environmentally conscious and to make choices that care for the earth’s resources. Our “green” resources, include LEED accredited professionals who allow us to facilitate discussions with client, contractor and design teams in furthering sustainable awareness and education.
